20 New Indie Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass on Day One!

The ID@Xbox event on Friday was full of good news for gamers with over a dozen indie games in the works, loads of new announcements, and new gameplay showcases. The Xbox came out of the event with a list of over 20 different indie titles which will be coming to the Xbox Game Pass. These titles will be made available on the service as soon as they are launched.

A portion of the games which have now been confirmed for day-one launches on Xbox Game Pass had been announced previously for the subscription service. Here’s a list of the 22 games which will be coming to Xbox Game Pass, along with which platform they will be available on,

Xbox Consoles

One aspect to note is the lack of PC support for many of these titles, providing cloud support instead. Xbox may be taking this route so that they can encourage PC gamers to pick up the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate instead of the regular PC subscription. The Ultimate version allows for browser-based usage of the Game Pass via the cloud.

Every game that was announced yesterday will be available via Game Pass on consoles. It’s still unclear if this means they will all support both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, but it’s evident that Xbox Game Pass on console is Microsoft’s priority for its partnership.

We expect to hear more about these 20 titles and their Xbox Game Pass availability as we get closer to their release dates.
