A New Nintendo Switch with 4K, OLED Screen Might Come out This Year

Nintendo might be set to take on all the console industry’s heavyweights with their plans to release a new and better Switch. Bloomberg has revealed few details about the upcoming Nintendo Switch’s screen size and resolution, and frankly, the specs sound astounding.

Rumors suggest that the new Nintendo Switch will sport a 7-inch long screen with a 720p rigid OLED panel that Samsung will develop. Moreover, it is expected that the new Switch will bring 4K high-definition graphics to the table when connected to a TV. One can expect the new Nintendo Switch to roll out around Christmas this year. 

As of now, we don’t know if this will be the expected Nintendo Switch Pro or just the same Switch with tweaked specs. Expect such doubts to be clarified soon.

The 4k resolution will definitely help Nintendo to go toe-to-toe against giants like Sony and Microsoft. The shift from a portable to a home console is for sure a magnetic feature and will help Nintendo attract customers.
