Cow Catcher is a seasonal quest in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It is a part of AC Valhalla Yule Festival, which was added to the game, thanks to the 1.1.0 update. The mission requires you to build a cattle farm and then catch and slaughter all the escaped cows.

1. Cow Catcher Quest AC Valhalla Requirements

If there is no cattle farm in your settlement, you won’t be able to play this quest. Cattle Farm is a must.

i. Building a Cattle Farm

Move to the west of your settlement in Ravensthorpe and you’ll come across an unbuilt cattle farm. 800 Supplies and 60 Raw Materials will be needed to build one.

ii. Settlement Level

Players can build a cattle farm if their settlement reaches Level 3.

2. Getting Supplies in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

To get your hand on Supplies in AC Valhalla, players will have the following choices:

Looting monasteries across the Valhalla map
Raiding settlements

AC Valhalla: Building A Cattle Farm & Cow Catcher Quest- Yule Fest — Cow Catcher

The Yule Festival introduced several fun side quests in AC Valhalla, and Cow Catcher is one of them.

After players are done constructing a cattle farm, four cows will escape from the farm. Therefore, it will be Eivor’s duty to find and slaughter all the cows.

Tracking the cows down is an uncomplicated job as all of them are marked on the map. Luckily, cows won’t be far away from your settlement. Just keep following the marker, and if worst comes to worst, raven sight has your back.

i. Location of the 4 Cows

After killing the tamed animal, you have to escort Bertham back to Ravensthorpe. After reaching the cattle farm, speak to Bertham’s mother and Eivor will be rewarded with 140 Yule Tokens.

Bertham will also be unlocked as a foe in the Yule Brawl.
