Getting Excalibur, King Arthur’s Legendary sword, in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can get tricky. You will have to use your combat abilities and flaunt your parkour skills to obtain the mythical sword. This guide will help you obtain the Excalibur Greatsword.
To get your hands on Excalibur in AC Valhalla, players will have to collect 11 mysterious tablets spread across a vast map.
Out of these 11, 8 tablets are known as the Treasures of Britain. Claiming these will require you to undergo a series of puzzles and parkour activities.
Acquiring each tablet will give players one skill point, which helps in increasing Eivor’s Power Level.
The last three tablets include boss fights against three Zealot members of The Ancient Order. They are Woden, Heike, and Hrothgar, who can be found in different regions of England.
1. Treasures of Britain- Tablet Location
i. Cave of Trials
Cave of Trials can be found close to the English coastline, at the east of Cent. Upon reaching this mazed location, you will have to jump from one rock to another utilizing your parkour skills while looking for keys to move forward.
Keep moving inside the cave, and you’ll soon be able to obtain the first tablet along with other rewards.
ii. Grimes Graves
On the northwest side of East Anglia, right below Brisleah Farm, Grimes Grave stone can be found. The stone is hidden under pots and objects that appear at the end of the cave.
iii. Santlache Mine
This stone can be found on the Eastern Border shared by Suthexe and Cent nearby an immense water pool. Head inside the mineshaft and keep moving forward. At the end of the shaft, a note will read ‘dive where iron thrives.’ From there, it’s swimming in the room and finding the tablet at its end.
iv. Old Cellar
To get your hands on this tablet, go to Essexe. Nearby a southern Colcestre lake, lies a poisonous cave. Head in and move forward. You will reach a wine cellar where using your arrows to fill the central grate will help you possess the tablet.
v. Wiccan’s Cave
In the snow-white mountains of Eurvicscire that lies to the west of Jorvik, players can find the fifth stone. Head inside the cave and reach the small den. Break an ice wall there and break the lock of a locked door that will appear. You will find the stone there.
vi. Deoraby Spar Cavern
In the Snotinghamscire region lies the Deoraby Spar cavern. The cavern shares its border with Snotinghamscire and Eurvicscire. Go inside, and you’ll find the stone at its end.
vii. Red Lichen Cavern
On the northeast of Wincestre, Red Lichen Cavern can be found. Remember to use your torch when inside it to combat the poison. It’s a pretty straightforward location. The trick here is to be quick, swiftly collect the stone, and leave.
viii. Wocig
The last tablet is located in Hamtunscire, northeast of Chepeham. The place where you will find the tablet is called Wocig. Blasting the oil barrels will enable you to create space and collect the final Treasure of Britain.
2. Three Excalibur Zealots- Location
After you’re done collecting the eight tablets, you’ll have to fight the three Zealots to obtain the remaining three stones.
i. Hrothgar
Hrothgar is a brutal enemy. He wanders around Suthsexe. Given that his power level is 280, he has immense strength. Not to mention, he can heal his body when damaged.
ii. Heike
Heike can be found on the paths of Essexe. He has a power level of 250 and attacks you with a mighty sword. The Zealot is lightning quick and can dodge your attacks and protects himself with a heavy shield.
Heike is also known for using his poison bombs; therefore using quick feet should help Eivor beat Heike.
iii. Woden
Found in Cent, Canterbury, Woden has a power level of 220. Lacking strength in battle combat, he makes for it by using his fast speed and flash bombs.
Dodge his attacks and hit Woden whenever you see an opening.
3. How to Obtain Excalibur from Myrddin’s Cave?
Now that you have collected all 11 tablets, all you have to do is place them in their fitting place.
That place can be found in northern central Hamtunscire and is known as Stonehenge. Upon setting foot here, look for a dense forest in the northeast near a large cave.
It is recommended that you go there with a power level of 340 as the location brims with bloodthirsty bears.
Head inside the cave and keep moving forward until you spot a large cavity. Dive in it, and you will find a doorway. Keep pushing, and you’ll enter Arthur Pendragon’s camp.
Inside the camp, all you have to do is place every tablet you have collected in its spot. After doing so, you will be able to pull the legendary Excalibur from the ground.
