Once you’re done with the Asgard arc, it will be time for another one of Valka’s adventures in Jotunheim. The first mission in Jotunheim will have you looking for some magical roots.
Valka’s dream missions were some of my favorites in AC Valhalla; not only did they let you live through a realm of God’s but also through Norse mythology itself. When you travel out of Asgard into Jotunheim, your missions will have you dealing with the incredible magic of the land.
1. Find Angrboda’s House in Mistress of the Iron Woods
Just as you begin your journey in Jotunheim, you need to locate and find Angrboda. The map marker gives you a rough idea of where the house is, but you don’t see any resemblance of the house when you reach the location!
Angrboda’s House is hidden by Jotnar Magic. Look around the area for two posts with mounted deer skulls. Look through these posts, and you will spot Angrboda’s House.
2. Can’t Find Angrboda’s House Bug in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
If you can’t see Angrboda’s house, it is not a bug. Just that the house is hidden by Jotnar magic, walk through the skull posts, and you will be able to see it.
When I played the Jotunheim arc for the first time, I was quite confused as many mission objectives were simply not there! Then when I looked around, it hit me that this place is indeed filled with great magic.
3. Find the Waterfall and Bring the Roots
After you meet Angrboda, you need to find some roots for her. Head to the quest marker once again, and this time too, you will not see anything of significance in the area!
To find the roots for Angrboda, head a little South from the circular area and up the lit braziers. Look through the two skull posts, and you will find the waterfall entrance, where the roots grow.
Dive straight in and start exploring the cave for the mysterious roots; they are pretty easy to find. After collecting them, return to Angrboda’s house to complete the Mistress of the Iron Wood Quest.
