You might encounter a unique bug in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla a couple of times where you cannot actually find the objective marker to speak to Randvi.
The open-world RPG, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sends you off as a Viking in 9th Century England fighting the Saxons but your adventure is not without some annoying bugs. At one point you will be asked to ‘Speak with Randvi’ during the Strange Land mission but there is no such objective marker. Turns out there is, but not exactly in the place you looked in.
1. How to Fix the Speak to Randvi Bug in AC Valhalla?
When you can not find the ‘Speak to Randvi’ objective in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, it means you have to use the alliance map to pledge to a region. There are different areas to pledge based on your current mission.
Truth be told this is not exactly a bug but just poor game design. Had the level design be such that the quest asked you to “Interact with the Alliance Map”, I would not have wasted my time traveling around the map figuring my way around. The problem is even more amplified as you sometimes have to scroll all the way down in the map to Norway/ Vinland to pledge which are usually not visible.
2. Fix the In a Strange Land Mission Bug
Hytham will let you know that you should speak to Randvi in the “Strange Land” mission to advance the story in Vinland but speaking with her won’t actually do anything.
To fix the “Speak to Randvi” bug in the Strange Land mission, open the alliance map and select Vinland at the bottom to pledge allegiance.
3. Fix the Where Legends Are Born Mission Bug
Similarly, in the “Where Legends Are Born” quest right after the Wincestre arc, Sigurd again asks you to Speak to Randvi but talking to her will do nothing!
To complete the “Speak to Randvi” objective in the Where Legends Are Born mission, open the alliance map and scroll down to Norway to pledge yourself.
