Ashe Skin has a design flaw in Overwatch 2 Season 3

A late addition to the Overwatch roster in 2018, Ashe has several iconic skins to her name. Following the release of Season 3 of Overwatch 2, she has been granted the Raijin skin.

The Raijin skin is based on the Japanese god of lightning, thunder and storm. The skin received much love from the players because of its appearance; however, many claims that the appearance lacks functionality.

Twitter user Miraak has reported that the Raijin Ashe skin has a bug that blocks the view, when compared to the default rifle design. As per the screenshot shared, it was visible that parts of the screen were blocked by the skin when aiming down the sights.

Jared Neuss, the executive producer for Overwatch 2, responded quickly and acknowledged the issue. He promised that the issue is being discussed with the team.

The Developing team is working on a fix to adjust the “sight so that it doesn’t block the player’s view”. A tentative date was given for the fix to be around April, the same time as the launch of season 4.

In addition, as a reparation of sorts, he promised that everybody who purchased the bundle would receive a name card that was supposed to be included in the Raijin Ashe skin initially.

Two updates on Raijin Ashe:

We're adjusting the sight so that it doesn't block the player's view. The fix should go live no later than S4 launch (April).

We're going to grant the name card that was briefly advertised with the skin bundle to everyone who buys the bundle.

Whilst the skin isn’t available in the Battle Pass for Season 3, it can be purchased in the game.

Players would surely be looking forward to it as the aesthetic quotient of the skin is very high, and once the issue is resolved, the DPS Hero – Ashe – is sure to be a force to be reckoned with.

Blizzard, the developers, are surely working on the fix, and it will be interesting to see when the design issue is resolved.
