Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Although the game was reported to be internally delayed twice, it is still scheduled for a 2023 release.

Rumors suggest Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be releasing in March next year as a screenshot of a Romanian e-Commerce website called Altex listed preorders for the game, and its release date which read “09.03.2023.”

Fans were skeptical to take in this new information since there has been no word by Ubisoft itself. Someone said if this date was actually correct, The Game Awards would have been a good platform to share the news.

Hence, most believe that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will follow the original gameplan, and launch in August 2023. If so, the developers might announce a Ubisoft Forward event in late December or early January, specifically for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

Fans are excited to play Assassin’s Creed Mirage which will be set in the medieval city of Baghdad. The protagonist, Basim, leaves behind his life as a small thief to join the Hidden Ones. Players can unlock The Forty Thieves quest by pre-ordering the game from any digital store.

Even though an early release does sound exciting, hopefully, the game won’t be rushed in development. Certainly, no one wants Ubisoft to be like the developers who release unfinished games to bank on profits.

About Assassin’s Creed Mirage

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.

Set in 9th-century Baghdad during the Islamic Golden Age—in particular during the Anarchy at Samarra—the story follows Basim Ibn Ishaq (a character first introduced in Valhalla), a street thief who joins the Hidden Ones to fight for peace and liberty against the Order of the Ancients,[b] who desire peace through control. The main narrative focuses on Basim’s internal struggle between his duties as a Hidden One and his desire to uncover his mysterious past.
