Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Update Introduces New Settlement Building

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been regularly updated since the game was launched in 2020. Ubisoft often comes out with new content, bug fixes, expansions, and even new microtransaction items and cosmetics.

The new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla teased a new settlement building for Eivor’s village, Ravensthorpe, which was highly requested by the fanbase.

Twitter user @AccessTheAnimus revealed that the new building would be dedicated to runes and perks. The structure looks similar to a Blacksmith, and many have guessed that players will be able to shop or forge runes there.

While the release date has not been announced yet, it was reported that more updates are on the way.

Some have even compared the building to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, a remote location called Myson Cave that held Hephaistos’s Workshop, where players could engrave and add powerful perks to their gear.

Ubisoft has a busy few years ahead with multiple projects on its plate. The company announced several new titles– Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade, and a Netflix collaboration.

The next Assassin’s Creed installment is Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which will be launched in 2023. The game is set in Baghdad and will follow Basim on a quest to seek answers and justice.

Even with three months remaining, Ubisoft has even more content planned for this year. Before entirely shifting focus to the future projects under the Infinity hub, the company announced an upcoming, free Final Chapter to wrap up Eivor’s story.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
