Every new installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise brings a lot of additions. Now, while many of these are fun, not all of them are welcomed or even required. Sometimes, fans like old mechanics and are sad to see them left out or replaced. Well, this time, Ubisoft is giving the fans a chance to voice their opinions.
The game studio is running an official survey on the Assassin’s Creed subreddit, encouraging fans to decide how the franchise evolves and what mechanics should be a part of future games. It’s great to see game developers reaching out to fans to see what they would like included in the game. Recently, fans voiced their concerns about the constant expansion of the Assassin’s Creed maps, so this is a great way to let Ubisoft know directly.
The survey was posted on Reddit earlier today by domvgt, Community Manager for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. It was also retweeted by the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account. The survey takes just a few minutes to complete, as there are only five questions, three of which are multiple-choice.
What’s most exciting are the final two questions,
- What changes can we make for you to give Assassin’s Creed a higher rating?
- What is an exciting feature in other games that you feel is missing in Assassin’s Creed?
Most game developers use surveys like these, and there is no guarantee that Ubisoft will consider each and every answer. But, some can get lucky, and if enough people speak about a specific concern, it’s bound to get noticed.
On the topic of improvements, Valhalla recently received Title Update 1.2.2, adding a new Mastery Challenge game mode that offers a variety of exclusive rewards. Players who complete the melee, ranged, and stealth tasks will earn gear not available anywhere else in the game.
