Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s New Tombs of the Fallen DLC Emerges Online

We’re getting quite close to the first year anniversary of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla as we progress through the month of November. Usually, developers and studios will have something special planned for these kinds of days for their big franchises. But, Ubisoft has been uncharacteristically silent as of late, giving us no clue about having any surprises. However, it seems a fan may have found a hint.

Ubisoft is usually very generous to its fans, providing constant title updates and a detailed roadmap for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content. Despite this, fans are keeping up to date with the latest rumors and speculations doing the rounds. This is seen the most when it comes to rumors about unreleased content, and some fans even go so far as to datamine the game itself to uncover some hidden info.

A fan has recently done exactly this and found hints of another new, upcoming piece of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content in the PlayStation 4 trophy list. User AccessTheAnimus then took to Twitter to share their discovery with screenshots of the PlayStation 4 trophy list.

Titled Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Tombs of the Fallen, the formatting of the title suggests that this may be the name of the third DLC. This would discount the previous rumors of the name, which indicated that it might be called Dawn of Ragnarok.

In the screenshot, the trophy list suggests that players will be required to complete up to three “Tombs of the Fallen.” Aside from this little tidbit of information, nothing else is known about the achievement as of now. Comments on the tweet had fans discussing the meaning of the trophy list and how it would tie into the rest of the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla story content. One has suggested that the tombs may be for fallen Assassins, similar to the ones we saw in older titles such as Assassin’s Creed 2.

Reports suggest that the next piece of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla content will be released sometime early next year. All of this is just rumor at this point, so fans are left to speculate what to expect for the title over the next few months. Here’s hoping they have an ace up their sleeve for the upcoming anniversary.
