Battlefield 6 Might be Revealed Sooner than we Expected

It has been quite long since Battlefield released. The next Battlefield title has been in work and EA confirmed that it will drop in 2021. According to new reports, Battlefield 6 might be revealed in May!

The news comes from Jeff Grubb of GamesBeat, who was asked during a live stream “when will Battlefield 6 be revealed,” to which he replied “May”. This confirms that Battlefield 6 will come before the standard E3 conference in May.

Even though this is still exciting news, the fact remains that this is just a general period in which more details about the next-gen title will be revealed. We still do not have a release date and the actual game might come out later this year.

“Things are still fluid. They haven’t announced anything publicly yet. But my understanding is that they’re probably looking at May.”,

Jeff Grubb

Grubb added.

Looking at previous Battlefields, Battlefield V and Battlefield 1 were both revealed in May. It is highly likely that EA would follow the same trend with the new release of the series.

“Our next Battlefield experience will mark a return to all-out military warfare. The game takes full advantage of the power of next-generation platforms to bring massive immersive battles to life with more players than ever before, Featuring maps with unprecedented scale, the next edition of Battlefield takes all the destruction, player agency, vehicle and weapon combat that the franchise is known for and elevates it to another level.”

EA CEO Andrew Wilson

It looks like the new Battlefield will be focusing on military warfare once again but with the might of new graphical advances behind it. It would make sense that Electronic Arts is taking new approaches since the last release has been devoid of new content even with the new Battle Royale mode.

It would be fun to see what the developers have in store for us as many of Battlefield’s competitions have already rolled out big new features such as Call of Duty’s Warzone. Thus it would make sense if Battlefield 6 also ships out with a battle royale game mode too.

That is not all, according to Tom Henderson, who has been infamous for leaking Call of Duty details, Battlefield 6 will also feature entire cities that can be destroyed!
