Details about BioShock 4 Leaked, Set in Antarctica with a Design Similar to Deathloop

BioShock is one of the most iconic games of its time, combining first-person shooter with RPG elements, mostly known for its strong and impeccable narrative. The series has been mostly dormant since its last installment in 2013, BioShock Infinite.

However, it was revealed that 2K games are developing another title in the series, possibly named BioShock 4 or BioShock Isolation. The game was supposedly going to be announced last year, but the development had been delayed due to staff reductions. Although, that hasn’t stopped leakers from getting key details about the game.

Leaker @oopsleaks has revealed all he knows about the upcoming BioShock game in a long Twitter thread. The game is primarily set in the 1960s-era Antarctic twin cities of Aurora and Borealis, with a graphic design similar to Deathloop.

This is the same leaker that first reported the existence of the game two years ago. He also says that the game will most probably be announced this year, and the launch shouldn’t be much farther than the end of 2024. That’s a long time, and considering this is Cloud Chamber’s first title, fans are a little unsure about this one.

Coming back to the game’s premise, the lower city Aurora is rumored to be a Soviet city built and maintained by slave laborers from prisoner camps, including the protagonist. The leaker further states that the protagonist will “enter the prosperous city of Borealis,” intending to unite both cities.

Moreover, the art style is rumored to be similar to that of Deathloop. With features such as the “1960s The British Invasion and counterculture vibes,” a psychedelic and trippy style, which they guess also extends to the music, setting up a whole atmosphere.

Although all these are rumors and should be dealt with a grain of salt, it appears that 2K games and Cloud Chamber are taking their time with this one rather than rushing it. Hence, we should get an amazing addition to the BioShock series.
