Some weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 might be tricky to unlock. The Bruen M13B is one of them, which is a fictionalized variant of the Sig MCX Virtus carbine, and used to be readily available in the 2019 Modern Warfare. However, it is an entirely different story in the new sequel.
The Bruen M13B assault rifle from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now being listed on eBay for sale.
The only way for players to obtain this gun is to kill a certain boss, the Chemist, in the new DMZ mode, and then exit with the weapon in hand. Players can also no longer run him over to acquire his M13B as the vehicle would just stop dead in its tracks when nearing the boss. Here’s the tough part: there’s only one M13B in every DMZ match available for grabs.
You can see why this is an enduring process. Some opportunistic players have started selling their own M13B carbines on the retail site, eBay. Since the weapon unlocks permanently, those who do sell their weapon anyways have access to unlimited units.
Players can unlock any weapon in the DMZ mode as long as they grab it and extract without losing their lives. When planned ahead, they can also organize quick extractions as soon as they spawn into the match.
Nobody has a clue on how to unlock the Chimera weapon though. It is highly possible the Honey Badger variant will be locked up in one of Modern Warfare 2’s Raid missions, which will be released during Season 1. Guess we will find out soon enough!
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
