Cheats for Battlefield 2042 Surface Online Months Before Release

There is no denying that there is a lot of hype going on around Battlefield 2042.

Since the first reveal on June 9, developers EA DICE have kept that hype going by keeping the updates flowing – be it the game’s first beta, a spectacular new mode, or a slew of partnerships.

But, unfortunately, this hype seems to have reached hackers too.

As reported by Charlie Intel, hacks and cheats for Battlefield 2042 have begun popping up online even though the game is far from release.

A website called IWantCheats, which claims to have 1.2 million registered users, has listed various cheating hacks for the game on its page.

These cheats include an Aimbot that will make hitting those targets a lot easier, an ESP that will display player names (to harass people, as per the website) and items on the map, and a Cheat Radar that will show enemies on your radar in red.

IWantCheats even asserts that these cheats are undetectable and are updated every time the developer drops a new patch.

While these cheats are for Battlefield 2042 on PC, the site also outlines how players can port them to consoles. This means trouble on all fronts for those looking for a fair Battlefield experience.

Cheats and hacks have become endemic to first-person shooter titles. Call of Duty: Warzone, in particular, has faced severe consequences for not combating cheaters as many players have refused to return to the game until cheaters have been dealt with.

As a result, Activision has been hard on nefarious elements, and hopefully, EA DICE will do the same.

Anticheat was spotted in the Battlefield 2042 beta, and it should come with the full release as well. This will undoubtedly be of great help in detecting and kicking out wrongdoers across platforms.

Battlefield 2042’s open beta kicks off next month, and the game is set to release on October 22 for PC, PS4|5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

We would recommend playing the game fair and square, without any performance-enhancing hacks.

It ruins the experience for everyone else and makes you just like one of the 1.2 million scumbags on IWantCheats. You don’t want to be a scumbag, do you?

About Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 is the seventeenth installment in the Battlefield series developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game is a first-person online multiplayer shooting title. This installment of Battlefield will not feature a single-player campaign mode.

The year is 2042 and the world is in ruins. Natural disasters run rampant, ocean levels have risen, the world economy has collapsed, and the US and Russia are at war. You step into the shoes of a non-patriated soldier – a soldier without a side. The games’ story will be revealed through episodic additions, allowing players to create a future for themselves and other non-pats in a world on the brink of destruction.
