Above all, the battle should replicate reality’s cruelty. We all know that in order to survive in the army, you have to get your hands dirty.

This is something that you’ll do in Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War now too. If you love stabbing enemies with knives while saying something intimidating, you’ll fall head over heels for this Activision’s arrival.

Third-person takedown executions were said to be a part of the game’s multiplayer. However, now they are included in the campaign mode as well.

As seen in the video above, you can see Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War’s campaign being played on the easy difficulty. Frankly, every takedown is breathtaking. Such spectacular blood spilling!

The first takedown is bone-chilling. After breaking the enemy’s arm you shoot him through his jaw. Withering, your enemy makes that sputtering sound. That sound, believe me, will reverberate in your ears for a long time.

The second takedown involves just a knife, no gun. Here you stick the knife to another foe’s neck. But it doesn’t stop here. The stabbing is followed by point-blank shooting. Talk about inhumanity. But that’s how things often are in the military. When in history have we seen mercy playing a role during the desperate times of war.

Initially, when such executions were introduced in Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare, they turned out to be very successful. Thus, it’s only natural that Activision is sticking with its victorious formula.
