Intel recently made the Arc A380 GPU available for sale exclusively in China. GUNNIR released a custom Arc A380 OC chip with 8 Xe – Cores and a double cooling system. There is no further information on when the graphics card will be available in other countries.
Ryan Shrout posted a video featuring two GUNNIR A380 Photon OC cards, the first custom Arc GPUs at Intel US labs.
The custom GPU is designed for an intense, mainstream gaming experience at 1080p medium graphics settings. The demo tested PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds at 2560×1080 settings. The Arc A380 is comparable to NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 and AMD’s Radeon RX 6400.
The custom Arc A380 features 6 GB of GDDR6 clocking at 15.5 Gbps. The maximum clock speed and TBP are 2450 MHz and 92W, respectively. It is designed for overclocking with maximum output generation. The graphics card sold out quickly after launch and several users are still awaiting shipment.
GUNNIR’s custom Arc A380 GPU delivers a mediocre performance for its cost, i.e., nearly 140 USD. However, given the options, AMD and NVIDIA might serve as better options. Intel’s A550 and A770 models will be available around late August.
