An Option to Preview Clothes is What Cyberpunk 2077 Fans Require

Thanks to the massive updates Cyberpunk 2077 has received since December 2020; it is finally on an upward trajectory. In contrast to the disastrous launch where the game was rendered completely unplayable by many, these great strides forward from the developer are a testament to how everything is redeemable.

However, despite this 180-degree change, there’s still one glaring omission that fans think the CD Projekt Red’s now-functioning RPG could do with. According to the game’s subreddit, enthusiasts are puzzled how a game so immersive and vast is missing a feature that lets them preview clothes on V.

When buying V’s clothes in Cyberpunk 2077, there is no way to find out how they’ll look on the protagonist. Instead, players are forced to purchase new items even for the simple purpose of trying them on. This has led to fans splashing and wasting hard-earned cash on outfits that turned out to be rubbish when tried on.

Sharing a photoshopped image on Reddit, user makavelinow says, “This is how we should buy clothes.” Fellow gamers like AllGodzDie agreed by commenting, “[The] game not having a preview when buying clothes is the dumbest thing ever.”

A proper wardrobe feature might not seem that substantial, but it’s absolutely essential for saving bucks and time. Right now, players have to go to great lengths just to buy the right outfit.

First of all, they travel all the way to a clothes shop in the immense Night City, browse through, and buy new threads just to end up hating them. In the end, they have to reload the game to retain the wasted money.

The ability to preview clothes can solve more than one can think, and hopefully, CDPR is in the office, taking notes as we speak, to add this uncomplicated yet vital feature to ease fans’ life and make V more stylish than ever.

About Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
