The new mod enables players to experience Cyberpunk 2077 in a third-person perspective. The gameplay, however, is reportedly not that smooth.
Players can explore the vast and dangerous world of Night City in third person thanks to a gift from modders. The latest mod by Jelle Baker enables players to play Cyberpunk 2077 in third-person.
That’s right, from chasing rogue AIs to driving around Night City to visit Ripperdocs, experience it all from a “new perspective”.
The third-person mod was created by Jelle Baker. To install the mod, first install Cyber Engine Tweaks. Following that download the TPP mod. Read further to know in detail.
Steps to install the mod:
- Install Cyber Engine Tweaks – Allows access to the console, debug menu and some bug fixes.
- Download TPP Mod – has different versions for male and female characters as gender is an “item” equipped by your character.
- Extract your version into \Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64 directory.
- Press B after launching Cyberpunk 2077 to shift to third-person mode. Pressing B again will let you cycle through four different camera views.
However, the mod still needs advancement. Owing to the game’s original first-person design, transitioning into third-person causes some animation oddities. For instance, the character’s hips slide out of join if the character turns at high speed.
The mods for Cyberpunk 2077 seem to get better, and this one is still one of the best ones out so far. Keep Playing!
About Cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk 2077 is an action-adventure RPG developed and published by CD Projekt Red.
The game is set in Night City, a seemingly utopian megalopolis where anything and everything is possible, on the surface, that is. We play as V, a mercenary that is after an implant that serves as the key to immortality. The humongous game world offers a lot of pathways, choices, allies, and enemies. The best part; every single choice and action of yours will forge the story around you!
Cyberpunk 2077 released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia on December 10th, with a PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X release set for 2021!
