Cyberpunk 2077: Two New Trailers Reveal Exciting Info

Yesterday, Cyberpunk 2077’s YouTube channel released two more trailers that delve further into its lore and the overarching world. This time, the trailer showcased the Night City and the gangs that live there.

Another big announcement relates to the system requirements for the game, according to which an SSD will be preferable for getting the full experience, though a normal mid-range PC can run it pretty well too.

What about the trailers, you ask?

Coming back to the first trailer, titled “Postcards from Night City,” it starts off with depicting the city as some utopia where the sky’s the limit when it comes to possibilities.

However, all this applies to the wealthy only, as, underneath the pomp and show, the city is an ugly mess sprawling with homeless people and gangs that dominate the streets.

It seems lone-wolfing it out won’t be an option either, as survival chances will drop to zero. How this will all translate into gameplay is still yet to be seen.

At the end of the trailer, a website was also shown, by the name of www.nightcity.love, which further unravels the mysteries surrounding Cyberpunk’s in-game world.

The site is certainly worth visiting. It is super realistic and offers a lot of insight to those looking for it, ranging from important areas, advertisements, and political systems.

The second trailer, titled “Gangs of Night City,” provides more insight into the gangs that rule the city.

These are different factions that the player will encounter throughout the game.

The trailer showed five factions, starting with the psychopathic Maelstrom, the god-obsessed, and stylish Valentinos, the gun-crazy 6th Street, the psychedelic Voodoo Boys, the brute-strength-filled Animals, and many more!

However, you, as a player, won’t be able to take sides with any of the factions, as was revealed by Quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz.

As a mercenary, V will take jobs from every faction, making them a primary target of distrust. Tomaszkiewicz further revealed that V would only stick to the Afterlife, a club that’ll essentially fill-in the hub world’s role for Cyberpunk 2077.

Regardless, the possibilities and things that are present in Cyberpunk are only expanding as we speak, and I, for one, certainly cannot wait to explore the Night City when the game drops on November 19.

About Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
