Cyberpunk 2077’s No Longer Available On PS Store!

Sony announced that Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most anticipated games of the year, is being removed from the PlayStation Store. Anyone who has bought the game via the PS store is entitled to a full refund if they want.

Cyberpunk 2077 has been a huge disappointment, thanks to numerous bugs that have plagued its gameplay experience. On top of that, the game crashes frequently, irrespective of the platform. Console users, though, had the worst of it all.

Given how Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 turned out, Sony has since removed the well-awaited RPG from its store.

In an announcement, the company said, “SIE strives to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, therefore we will begin to offer a full refund for all gamers who have purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store,”

They further added. “SIE will also be removing Cyberpunk 2077 from PlayStation Store until further notice.”

Moreover, players are free to get Cyberpunk refunded if they want to. Sony is offering full refunds to anyone who demands one.

Sony claimed, “Once we have confirmed that you purchased Cyberpunk 2077 via PlayStation Store, we will begin processing your refund… Completion of the refund may vary based on your payment method and financial institution”.

You know things are really bad when even CD Projekt Red announced a few days prior that they are allowing for the game to be refunded. This refund scheme covers both physical and digital copies.

Meanwhile, the devs promised to work on the game and release patches and updates to help Cyberpunk 2077 deliver what’s expected of it. Therefore, if you want to wait for a few months to play CP2077 at its finest, you should not refund it.

Projekt Red is a gem. If money isn’t an issue, I’d say believe in the developing company. They’ll make Cyberpunk 2077 reach its potential. They made the Witcher 3, after all.

But then again, if you want to get a refund but are unsure how to get one, you are more than welcome to read our guide:

About Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
