PQube has recently announced that it has launched “Is It Wrong To Try To Shoot ’em Up Girls In A Dungeon?”, a shoot ’em up that serves as a companion DLC to 5pb.’s Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate.
For those unaware, the game is based on “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?”, DanMachi for short, light novel series, and adapts both the story from the anime’s first season as well as the spin-off “Sword Oratoria.”
It’s undoubtedly a fantastic series which, while having its fair share of flaws, does the job of keeping us entertained at its finest through its story, world development, and of course, the lovable cast of characters.
5pb.’s title mixes different elements of dungeon crawlers and visual-novel stories while also featuring procedurally-generated dungeons as well as Date Events for interacting with all the characters.
On the other hand, the DLC game companion takes the base concept of the game and turns it into a fast-paced shoot ’em up that is just as, if not more fun than the base game. Here’s a small sneak-peak of what it’s like:
The base game was released in November of 2019 in Japan for the PS4, PlayStation Vita, Switch, and PC after a ton of delays, followed by the launch in Europe on August 7th and North America on August 11th, the subsequent year.
That said, if you decide to give this game a try, now is the best time since the devs have ironed out a ton of bugs plaguing the game, except for the controller issue, which continues to persist.
Anyhow, the DanMachi series certainly seems to be at its peak at the moment.
With the 3rd season of the anime going on quite smoothly and featuring one of the best arcs the series has to offer, coupled with 5pb.’s action RPG and shoot ’em up free add-on, it’s safe to say that right now is one of the best times to be a fan of the series or for those that are trying to get into it.

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate, DanMachi Infinite Combate for short, is a dungeon-crawling RPG that takes inspiration from the anime and light novel series of the same name.
Set in the world of Orario, the game follows the first season of the series’ anime and the side story “Sword Oratoria,” featuring procedurally generated dungeons. The story, on the other hand, is presented in a visual novel format.
The game was initially released in November of 2019 in Japan for the PS4, PlayStation Vita, Switch, and PC, with a DLC companion game “Is It Wrong to Try to Shoot ’em Up Girls in a Dungeon?” releasing on November 25th, 2020.
