Dead Island 2, the latest entry in the survival-zombie open-world Dead Island series, received its iconic trailer in 2014, which I must add amused many, many gamers.
Since then, it has been another addition to the list of long-awaited games as there was no information whatsoever on the game. But now, finally, we have a hint on the release date of this awaited action-RPG game.
An Amazon Listing of Dead Island 2 has appeared, suggesting that the game will launch on February 3rd, 2023, at a price of $69.99 on PS4/5. Another Amazon Listing of the same game has also appeared with the same price tag of $69.99, but for Xbox.
Both the listings mention Dead Island 2: Day One Edition, which adds authenticity to this leak, as this is probably the pre-order game. This could mean that an official announcement for the game is also around the corner.
Dead Island 2 is the sequel to popular titles Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide, however, the game saw such a long delay due to development issues, and the project had undergone multiple directions.

The game is set across the most iconic locations of the City of Angels, now stained with horror, in an exciting pulp journey from the verdant suburbia of Beverly Hills to the quirky promenade of Venice Beach.
The most intense, visceral, and gory First Person combat will be the highlight of the game, much like the critically acclaimed Dying Light 2. There will be lots of choices when it comes to weapons.
A new addition compared to previous titles, you can choose from one of the 6 characters, each with their own unique personality and dialogues. You can also fully customize the abilities of each Slayer, with the brand-new skill system allowing you to re-spec instantly and try out the craziest builds.
Zombie UI has improved, and at the same time, the game features multiple varieties of zombies. Keep in mind that the Day 1 Edition includes the Memories of Banoi Pack – Banoi War Club, Memories of Banoi Baseball Bat, Weapon Perk – balanced, and Personal space skill card.
Well, after multiple development changes, actually also multiple developer changes, Dead Island 2 might finally arrive. If the hype hasn’t faded away yet after the trailer, the game should definitely come with a bang next year.
