Sector’s Edge is an 8v8 first-person shooter that has now entered its Early Access stage. The developers also confirmed that the game will remain in Early Access for a period of 6 months.
If Minecraft and Halo had a baby, it’d be like Sector’s Edge. The physics of the game takes after Halo. One jump is more than enough to cover long spaces and at the same time, you don’t really lose control of the player. Just like in Halo.
The graphics of the game are just like that of Minecraft. The best thing about the game is that everything can be destroyed. Most FPS don’t feature an environment explodes. This is where Sector’s Edge stands out.
The wildling in me absolutely loved this feature. To see pixelated blocks flying away and things falling apart. Visually, the graphics did not disappoint at all.
Sector’s Edge houses six maps too so that makes it six places to absolutely smash!
Sector’s Edge won’t pack different classes but instead a weapon loadout system. This implies selecting guns will charge you points. With all the loadout points saved, you can build more blocks.
Right now the game is in Early Access and will remain in one for six months. Sector’s Edge is a free to play game. Moreover, the developers said, “We have plans for new weapons, maps, game modes, characters and skins with in-app purchases to unlock customization options quicker.”
If you’re thinking about whether your system can run Sector’s Edge or not then relax. It does not demand high specs even old PCs can run it. You only need a free space of 638MB for its installment.
