Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat was only available in China back in 2021. However, after over a year, the developers Capcom and NebulaJoy have decided to make the game available worldwide.
A new video on the official YouTube channel for Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat announced that pre-registrations are now open. Those who sign up will be automatically registered for a chance to participate in the title’s closed beta which is coming soon.
Even if someone is not chosen for the beta program, they can still earn rewards after the open beta launches. Capcom has not confirmed any dates for when that will happen though.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a combination of multiple mainline titles from the franchise, redesigned for the mobile platform. The game will feature familiar characters namely Dante, Nero, Vergil, and Lady.
Devil May Cry 5, which was launched in 2019, was a huge hit among fans. So, the Peak of Combat comes in at the right time since the momentum is still high. Technically Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat will not be a new release, but there are some areas in the global market who have yet to try it out.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat will definitely be a fun play. Other than a different gaming experience, Peak of Combat will also introduce a fresh context.
There are currently no updates on Devil May Cry 6 so it is safe to assume that it will be a while before we get any firm news.
