Diablo 3’s Season 22 Details Revealed

After an extended Public Test Realm, Blizzard has finally announced that the 22nd season of Diablo 3, Shades of the Nephalem, will begin soon with season conquests, a brand-new theme, and cosmetics and journey rewards!

Players were pretty disappointed in finding that PTR 2.6.10 had been extended due to latency and login problems.

But players will also have something good to look forward to now, seeing how Blizzard has continuously been at work on ironing out all of the game’s bugs and fixing up content that will be an integral part of the upcoming season.

Up until now, Blizzard has kept all of us in the dark regarding the upcoming season; after announcing that season 21 of the game will end by November 8th. But now, it’s finally here, and it looks as glorious as it gets!

Not to mention, the bug fixes included the crashes that were consistently happening on PC and macOS clients. If you are a softcore player, this is most definitely not going to be an issue.

But for all the hardcore players out there that carry the feature of perma-death as well, this can be absolutely destructive.

If something like that happens, something like latency will look much better because losing a character who you’ve been working on for god knows how long can be pretty damn devastating.

As for this season’s theme, there will be a particular emphasis on Shadow Clones that will spawn upon activating a shrine or pylon. The clone’s power is stated to scale with your character’s stats and last for almost a minute or until death.

Other than that, a permanent fourth slot in Kanai’s Cube will also be granted to the players, which will play an integral role in building new and unique builds while expanding the role of the legendary affixes that can be utilized at once.

Anyhow, this season of Diablo 3 is undoubtedly looking pretty exciting, and now that all the bugs in the game have almost been ironed out, there’s no reason not to try it. So, be sure to check it out when it lands on November 20th!
