With Evil West’s release a week ago, players are wondering if there’s a New Game Plus mode in the game. After all, putting in hours and grinding to upgrade your character would feel immensely satisfying if you get to use all the new upgrades in New Game Plus.
There are a bunch of new upgrades and weapons that can be added to Jesse Rentier’s collection to use against Vampires. The question is, would you be able to jump back into the game with all new weapons and upgrades after completing the main story once?
Does Evil West have a New Game Plus mode?
Evil West does have a New Game Plus mode. This means that you can jump right back after completing the main story once. After you finish the story and roll through the credits, there’s a button at the top that lets you start the game over again with absolutely everything you finished it with.
You’ll be able to continue upgrading Jesse’s weapons and upgrades so you can take on even tougher enemies. Increasing the difficulty might make your replay even more satisfying as you’ll get to use all abilities that you’ve collected throughout the game.
How long does it take to beat Evil West?
Evil West takes approximately 11-12 hours to beat. The campaign is 16 chapters long and the game features a linear campaign, hence there’s no question of it being open world and doesn’t focus on exploring. There are, however, challenging boss fights and a variety of enemies to defeat.
There are collectibles present throughout the game but they are pretty easy to find. While there isn’t much exploring to do in this game, players can try out different weapons and different load-outs in order to keep the game fresh.
Can you replay missions in Evil West?
Evil West does feature a way to replay missions from in-game so, don’t worry if you have missed out on something during a specific mission. You can always go back and ensure that you don’t miss it twice. In the Lore tab located in the Menu, all of the missions will be listed and you can play any of them whenever you want.
The Lore tab will show you every mission that you’ve completed so far and the collectibles that you have collected in every mission as well. Feel free to play any of the missions whenever you want without the fear of impacting your story progress.
