Single-player games tend to have a New Game Plus mode available as soon as the game is completed. God of War Ragnarok took a while to get the New Game Plus update but it’s finally here.
God of War Ragnarok’s latest update 4.00 adds New Game Plus to the game. It means that you can now start a new game save with all your upgrades, armors and weapons. Along with the NG+, new armor sets, new Enchantments and more have been added to the game.
What’s new in update 4.00 for God of War Ragnarok?
Here’s a brief rundown of everything that has been added to God of War Ragnarok in update 4.00:
1. New Game Plus: The latest update to God of War Ragnarok brings forth the New Game Plus mode, which has been anticipated since the release of the game.
2. New Armor Sets: Brand new armor sets such as the Spartan Armor, the Ares Armor, the Zeus Armor and the Cloak of the Black Bear has been added to the game with unique abilities.
3. Expanded Niflheim Sparring Arena: The Sparring Arena in Niflheim has been expanded as newer variety of enemies have been added as well as new companions to choose from while in combat.
4. New Enchantments: In this update, you can purchase new Enchantments and attach it to your Amulet to make Kratos even stronger. On the other hand, Burdens have been added as well which will allow you to equip negative Perks for a tailor-made challenge.
5. New Progression Paths: Similar to the new progression paths already in the game, brand new progression paths have been added to increase the replay value of the game.
6. Endgame Bosses: The difficulty of each of the endgame bosses in God of War Ragnarok have been increased with the recent update. Enemies now hit harder, have new abilities, and turn elite even on Give Me No Mercy difficulty.
7. New Render Mode: A Black and White Render Mode has been added to God of War Ragnarok in order to make the game feel more cinematic.
