Access to Dying Light 2’s Fully Rideable Bicycle Needs Special Actions

While Dying Light 2 has been heavily criticized for the uninteresting narrative, it has made up for it with some extremely satisfying gameplay. The original’s phenomenal parkour system has been improved upon greatly, making getting around the city easier and more fun than ever before.

The game also gives players access to certain tools that can help with getting around, but one specific one cannot be accessed through normal means.

A bicycle may have been a part of the game but was apparently cut out at the last minute. A fan discovered the vehicle using a developer menu that they downloaded from Nexus Mods. This menu allowed the player to spawn a fully rideable bicycle into the game world. The bicycle appears to move pretty smoothly, but it is pretty slow.

It is unclear if Techland decided to remove the bicycle from the game, as Dying Light 2 was released on Friday, and there are a lot of Easter eggs yet to find. So, a bicycle may exist currently somewhere around Old Villedor that players can ride. But, as of writing this, the only way to access the bicycle is to spawn it in with the developer menu.

Some Easter eggs in the game have been found. One references Resident Evil, where Aiden is tasked by an NPC named Leon to find his friend, Chris. Upon finding the now infected Chris, Aiden must kill him and grab his dog tags which reveal his full name to be Chris Redfield.

There is also a reference to Dead Island, Techland’s first zombie game. Players will find a record player during the prologue with a vinyl labeled “Who Do You Voodoo?” a reference to the opening of Dead Island

As satisfying as the gameplay is, there are also some bugs that must be ironed out, and Techland is on the task. Issues at launch are typical for games, and as long as the developers stay on top of the fixes, the game should be in a reasonably playable condition.

About Dying Light 2 Stay Human

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a sequel to Techland’s 2015 open-world, zombie parkour action-adventure title Dying Light.

The game puts you in the shoes of Aiden Caldwell and is set 20 years after the first game’s events. You will be based in the City, located in Europe, and have free reign of the map and how you wish to traverse the area. Parkour will be your most used form of transport in the game, and the crafting system is also making a return.

There is also a decision system where your choices through the story affect the world around you. This could lead to more opportunities to earn resources, unlock shortcuts, and, most importantly, make the lives of those in the City more easy or difficult.
