The EEC website Has Listed Three Custom Variants of Gigabyte GeForce GTX

It seems that the debut of the GTX 1630 is finally nearing. GIGABYTE is preparing to launch three custom variants of GeForce GTX 1630.

According to many leaks and rumors, NVIDIA’S first GTX xx30 graphics card is apparently based on a TU117-50 GPU. This model is a cut-down version of GTX 1650 with a lower number of cores and with half of the memory bus.

TX 1650 had a 128-bit memory bus, whereas GTX 1630 has a 64-bit memory bus. EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) website states that Gigabyte is preparing three custom variations of the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1630

  • GV-N1630D6-4GL
  • GV-N16300C-4GL
  • GV-N16300C-4GB

These are the names that have been given to the three variants of customization of GTX 1630. As you can understand from the name itself that the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1630 is a part of the 16-series of GPUs that NVIDIA launched in 2019.

Most GeForce GTX 1630 graphics cards will be based on the same design as the GTX 1650, since both SKUs are targeted for a similar TDP, 75W.

The OC models which are listed might require more power and hence needs external power connectors. It is also confirmed by the list that all three of the GPUs will have 4 GB memory and that too GDDR6. The bandwidth will be limited to 96 GBPS

This card GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1630’s performance is worse than the pascal model which was released in 2016. Had GTX 1630 had a wider bus, then it might have surpassed GTX 1050 Ti in terms of performance.

The debuting date of GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1630 is currently ‘TBD.’ NVIDIA hasn’t provided the launch date scheduled yet. The dates which were originally planned for May 31st and then June 15th for this SKU were erased at the last moment.
