AC Crossover Stories DLC to Unite Valhalla & Odyssey’s Protagonists

Year after year, Assassin’s Creed has provided us with immersive portrayals that traversed the course of history. Whether through the life of Kassandra, a ferocious Greek warrior, or the mettlesome Eivor of Norse mythology, we always got to participate in key moments of human refinement.

This always brought a fascinating crossover idea into existence where the heroes of two different timelines were brought face to face with each other. Fortunately, this is set to be a reality, thanks to Crossover Stories DLC.

Releasing on December 14, 2021, Assassin’s Creed Crossover Stories is a cross-game event where Eivor of Valhalla and Kassandra of Odyssey will be brought together for an epic adventure of two stories.

This DLC will be available to both Valhalla and Odyssey players who own the base game on all platforms as a free download.

The first story, “Those Who Are Treasured,” will take place in Odyssey and can be accessed after Chapter 1.

However, it is recommended that you complete the three main story arcs – Family, Cult of Kosmos, and Mythology before diving into the crossover mission so that the plot isn’t spoiled for you.

“A Fated Encounter” is the second story that will be available in Valhalla when players reach Settlement level 4 in Ravensthorpe and unlock Valka the Seer.

The plot is set after the events of AC Odyssey, where an immortal Kassandra is gazing at a sky full of stars, sipping wine, and spending her days peacefully. However, when friends of her past come calling and ask for the services of our robust Greek assassin to hunt an Isu Artifact down, she puts her game face on.

Her new purpose in life eventually takes Kassandra to Skye’s Isle, where she encounters Eivor.

Even though our beloved Viking is there to help the villagers by getting rid of threats, a misunderstanding occurs, and the two protagonists engage in brutal combat.

Ultimately as the misconceptions fade away, both Eivor and Kassandra join hands to protect the inhabitants of the Island of Skye as the plot takes an exciting turn.

It should also be kept in mind that AC Odyssey players will embark on this trek as the character they originally selected: Alexios or Kassandra. However, Kassandra will be the default character that Eivor will collide with on the Isle of Skye and the one that features in cutscenes.

It definitely feels like Christmas came early for Assassin’s Creed enthusiasts. Ever since Odyssey’s release, Kassandra has enjoyed a massive fan following, and players were longing for her to make a comeback. Now by the looks of it, she has made a massive one by traveling to a treacherous Norse world altogether.

This move by Ubisoft definitely calls for a celebration but hold on; we have some more good news in store for you.

Besides introducing Crossover Stories, Ubisoft has also announced the third expansion of AC Valhalla. Called Dawn of Ragnarok, the devs claimed it is the most ambitious DLC of the game so far and will add 35 hours of extra content.

This expansion pack will release on March 10, 2022 and take Eivor to the realm of Norse Gods and make the protagonist assume the role of Odin to save Baldur.

I surely can’t wait to see the world from the perspective of the all-father, what about you?
