The trailer for the latest Pokemon game has been the talk of the town for the past few days. Quite a few Pokemon were revealed to be part of the world in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.
The Pokemon Presents event was a big milestone in the franchise’s history. Along with the reveal of two long-awaited remakes Pokemon: Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon: Shining Pearl, we also got a look at Pokemon Legends: Arceus. An RPG set in the Sinnoh region, the game is said to take place much before the events of Diamond and Pearl, allowing players to explore the world like never before.
The trailer revealed a few details about the game, along with a tentative early 2022 release window. Fans were also given a glimpse of a few of the Pokemon they will encounter while roaming the world. While it is expected that the game will feature most Pokemon from the Sinnoh region, the timeline of the game may also play a factor in this.
To see all the Pokemon that have been confirmed, you could try and catch ‘em all by watching the trailer, or by just reading the list below.
While these were the Pokemon featured in the trailer, we can expect to see a lot more. After all, Pokemon evolve. Pokemon Legends: Arceus will also be the first game in the franchise to ever feature starter Pokemon from three different regions; Cyndaquil – Johto, Rowlet – Alola, Oshawott – Unova. The appearance of some evolved forms will also depend on the availability of stones and game mechanisms such as trading.
While the original Pokedex for the Sinnoh region had 151 Pokemon, this number may be more or less for Pokemon Legends: Arceus. What is certain is that this title promises to completely change the way we’ve been playing Pokemon until now and give a whole new spin to the lore as well!
