Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s release date is getting closer and closer with just a few weeks left till it launches globally. Activision has already released a launch trailer in preparation for its launch. Players will also get early access to the campaign so here’s everything you need to know about the game’s Early Access.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 officially launches on October 28th but the Campaign Early Access begins on October 20th, eight days before the game launched worldwide. Note that when the early access comes out, you will only be able to access the campaign, not the multiplayer.

It’s pretty easy to get the Early Access for Modern Warfare 2. All you need to do is just pre-order the game on any platform, doesn’t matter which edition of the game you purchase, pre-ordering the game is a must. Note that you must pre-order the game digitally.

The Early Access will not be accessible to anyone who buys the game physically from anywhere, so if you’ve already pre-ordered a physical copy of the game, then you’re out of luck unfortunately. Buying any edition of the game digitally will grant you the Early Access. Early Access will only grant you access to the single-player experience. Spec-Ops and multiplayer will be available from the release date which is October 28th.
