13 Easter Eggs and Secrets Everyone Completely Missed in Far Cry 6

Developers worldwide use Easter eggs as a brilliant marketing strategy to create hype around their product in the gaming community. In addition, they also use it to communicate with the players and establish a sense of realism.

If you’ve played games developed by Ubisoft, chances are you’re acquainted with their love for planting Easter eggs. And, the Far Cry series isn’t devoid of this peculiarity.

In Far Cry 6, Easter eggs are a notch harder to notice, but that’s precisely why you’re here.

In Far Cry 6, Ubisoft has hidden Easter eggs referencing other games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Battle for Atlas, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Additionally, weapon skins and a list of names are also a part of the hidden secrets.

Let me tell you about the 13 amazing Easter Eggs that Far Cry 6 has in store for you.

You can find the Jawson trophy in the vast ocean next to the shores of Yara. It’s a tribute to Jason Brody from Far Cry 3, and you can obtain it by killing a shark with a grenade.

Surprisingly, the developers also intended it to refer to the 1980s blockbuster movie Jaws.

It’s a reference to the Attari, a gaming console of the 1970s. Moreover, the “Power” and “TV Type” labels on the skin are further confirmations.

3. Easter Egg #3 – Golden Apple

In Pino Crest north of Costa Del Mar, you’ll find a note on the shelf of a bunker. The phrases “Golden Apple artifact” and “Crate marked Electrum” written on it refer to the mind-controlling devices, Apples of Eden, from Assassin’s Creed and Starlink.

5. Easter Egg #5 – Shoutout to the Developers

There’s an abandoned pink trailer at the Maria Marquessa Production house in the Balaceras region. Once you make your way inside it, you’ll find a note acknowledging the hard work of all the developers.

And, in the swamp area present at the Balaceras National Park, you’ll come across a board with the names of the developers’ family members on it.

6. Easter Egg #6 – Chemical Formula

You’ll find a crate of bananas in various locations such as the oil rig, the underground bunker of the metrological station, a blue shack at the movie studio, and the sugar mill.

On top of these crates rests a photo of a dog. This means either the thief loves his dog or the dog himself is the real culprit.
