FIFA 21 Is Slowly Becoming Space Jam?!

A bug has been found in FIFA 21 that is randomly shooting the players straight into the air, only to land them back safely! Fun stuff, I’d say!

From seeing a character, T-posing to assert their dominance to the face animations messing up, making the characters look, well, weird, bugs in a video game are one of its inherently humorous parts.

Sometimes a developer purposely adds them in for a quick laugh, but sometimes, a developer messes up the source code, resulting in bugs, and let’s be honest, as long as a bug isn’t hindering the experience too much, I feel like it deserves a pass for at least making us chuckle a little bit.

I feel that the latest bug found in FIFA 21 falls into this category, and it’s genuinely hilarious to witness, especially in one of those super-serious match.

Just imagine, making your way towards the goal, and the moment you’re about to kick it in, the player is sent flying into the air, with them landing back a few seconds later!

Not to mention, all of it is recorded in the shot replay, making the entire ordeal even more fun than it already is! Here’s what the experience feels like. Look me in the eye and tell me this isn’t glorious:

Still wondering how players can achieve such lovely movements in the game?

Now, if I were to point out one of FIFA’s most significant flaws, it’s the game’s physics. To put it simply, it feels super off.

For example, in PES, the ball movement feels very satisfying, realistic, and genuinely unpredictable, whereas, in FIFA, it feels super predictable and simplified, making the entire thing feel super flat.

On a less serious note, here’s a clip of a player bunny hopping their way through!

Regardless, let’s hope that EA fixes the issues soon, but until they do, I’d suggest everyone to enjoy seeing their favorite players bouncing in the air!
