Nornir Chests are found across all the realms in God of War: Ragnarok, just like in God of War (2018). These chests contain valuable resources such as Idunn Apples which increases your maximum health or Horns of Blood Mead which increases your maximum rage, both of which you’ll need at full potential as you progress through the game.
The first Nornir Chest that you’re going to come across in God of War: Ragnarok is in Svartalfheim, the realm of the Dwarves. You’ll find this chest right when you first dock at the beach in Aurvangar Wetlands. You’ll need to break three seals to unlock the chest.
The seals are not that hard to find considering this is the first Nornir Chest you’re gonna come across in the game. Head down below to see the location of the seals:
First Seal
The first seal will be right behind the chest on the island, sitting upon rocks. It’s hard to miss so you won’t be having a problem finding this totem. Break it.
Second Seal
The second seal is just to the right of the chest. It’s extremely hard to miss and all you need to do is just break it using any of your weapons.
Third Seal
The third seal is on a platform overlooking the chest. To get to that platform, freeze the geyser on your left using the Leviathan Axe and then climb up the platform using the Blades of Chaos and you’ll find your seal right in front of you. Break it and you’ll immediately unlock the chest.
These chests are very important to unlock as you progress more and more throughout the story and face more challenging enemies and situations. So make sure to open them whenever you find one of them.
