As of now, only PC and current-gen console players were able to enjoy the easygoing nature, exact realism, and brilliant mechanics of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Owners of next-gen consoles were in the dark for so long, but thankfully now, things are about to change!
Xbox Game Studios announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator would be arriving on next-gen consoles. A trailer of the simulation was showcased at E3, which revealed its release date to be July 27.
Owners of Xbox Series X/S have to wait for only over a month to get a taste of this masterpiece in stupendous hardware.
The footage of Microsoft Flight Simulator displayed was recorded in real-time 4K on the flagship, Xbox Series X. This gave fans a clear picture of what to expect when the game finally covers next-gen consoles as well.
Flight Simulator has been talked about so much ever since it hit the shelves last year. The modding community has added hilarious mods like the one that can help you summon the beloved Godzilla.
If you prefer to use Google Maps instead of Bing then there’s a mod for such desire too!
On top of this, the devs have added a series of updates that cover famous locations like the UK, France, and Benelux. This update will make Flight Simulator brim with new points of interest with improved and extensive detailing.
Moreover, a VR update also exists for the game. Even with no virtual reality, the experience that Flight Sim sold was mind-blowing. It’s hard to contemplate the dimension that VR will add to an already convincing game.
If this wasn’t enough to get you hooked, Microsoft Flight Simulator is also set to offer players an expansion based on the evergreen Top Gun franchise.
The expansion promises to deliver an experience that makes one feel “what it’s like to be a US Navy Top Gun.”
The Top Gun expansion has no official release date as of yet but is expected to roll out this Fall.
