Fortnite Leak Reveals a Possible Collaboration with Across the Spider-Verse

Fortnite is known for its amazing collaborations with huge IPs and one of their most successful partnerships has been with Disney, adding fan favorite characters from different franchises such as Star Wars and Marvel.

Their most recent collaboration with Disney brings fan-favorite characters from the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy to the game, such as Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, and Padme Amidala.

Their collaborations with big franchises have consistently proven to be a hit, and recent leaks suggest that the big collaborations aren’t stopping anytime soon.

Fortnite insider HYPEX revealed on Twitter that the first collab in Chapter 4 Season 3 will be with Spider-Man. The collaboration will most likely include the long-rumored Miles Morales and will be connected to the upcoming Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse movie.

HYPEX further revealed in the tweet that the collaboration will include a WebSlinger Mythic, 2 skins codenamed “Hero & Menace Universal”, 2 pickaxes and backblings, and an emote.

Fans have speculated that the 2 skins included in the collaboration will be Miles Morales, and Miguel O’ Hara a.k.a Spider-Man 2099 from the upcoming movie. Rumors of Miles Morales being added to the game have been floating for a long time, so it makes sense to include him in the game when his movie releases.

Across The Spider-Verse hits theaters on June 2 and Fortnite Season 2 is ending on June 9. Interestingly, Fortnite Season 2 was originally supposed to end on June 2, so the dates add up pretty nicely. By releasing the collaboration, a week later, the dates won’t clash.

Just like the new Star Wars themed event, Fortnite could easily do a Spider-Verse themed event, bringing in other iconic Spider-Verse skins, Spider-Verse themed cosmetics and challenges.

Fortnite is available to play for free on PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and Mobile devices.
