Forza Horizon 5’s New Hotfix Brings Fixes for PC & Festival Playlist

Forza Horizon 5 enjoyed the biggest first week in Xbox’s history by reaching 10 million players and received plaudits from fans and critics alike. From unrivaled visual beauty to captivating gameplay, this simulator offers it all and is easily a paragon of the racing genre.

But this does not mean the work of developers is done. Like any other AAA title, even FH5 has recently faced minor issues that were detrimental to its hypnotic experience. Consequently, Playground Games has now rolled out the first update of this month for Forza Horizon 5 to ensure fans receive a faultless racing experience.

Announced on February 16, the new hotfix will resolve several PC crashes, the Festival Playlist, and much more across all platforms of Forza Horizon 5.

While Playground Games did not reveal the download size of the patch, it’s unlikely to be sizeable since no new content or feature is being added to this open-world racer.

Thanks to this hotfix, PC players of Forza Horizon 5 will no longer have to put up with an out of memory crash that used to occur when driving The Colossus.

All the high-level players with a plethora of cars in their garage can also breathe a sigh of relief as the game will no longer crash when they start it.

Now coming to the general fixes, the virtual issue that made the bumper of the 2018 Audi TT RS Sport Bumper disappear now ceases to exist across the console and PC versions of the game. A few restrictions in the Festival Playlist witnessed a change as well “to make them more appropriate to the countries being represented.”
