The Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm mount was first added to World of Warcraft as a crossover promotion between World of Warcraft and Wrath of the Lich King Classic. But World of Warcraft has warned players that this mount is for limited-time only and will be going away very soon.
The Frostbrood Proto-Wyrm mount will not be obtainable anymore in World of Warcraft from November 28th after Dragonflight launches. The mount can be earned for retail World of Warcraft accounts by finishing the Death Knight starting experience in Wrath of the Lich King Classic.
To obtain the mount before it goes away on November 28th, players need to log in to the game and make a Death Knight in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. After completing the “Warchief’s Blessing” or “Where Kings Walk” Quests, the mount will be added to the retail World of Warcraft mount collection.
The good thing about obtaining this mount is that it’s not that hard to obtain it and it takes only a couple of hours. Plus, the mount’s animations and textures are phenomenal, one of the many reasons why players loved this mount’s addition to the game.
Although players are disappointed that the mount is limited-time only and World of Warcraft is known for FOMO (fear of missing out). At the moment, there are no plans for making this mount permanent in the game. Players’ demands may convince World of Warcraft to make it permanent but it’s still a slim chance. So, players should complete the quests and obtain them now as they still have time.
