After AMD made its FSR 2.0 technology open source, we saw games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Dying Light 2 receive FSR 2.0 mods. Since then, modders have been busy implementing FSR 2.0 in more games. PotatoOfDoom1337 shocked everyone by releasing his FSR 2.0 mod for Cyberpunk 2077 by replacing DLSS 2.0 files with FSR 2.0 files. Soon after, Dying Light 2 received its FSR 2.0 mod which was forked out of the Cyberpunk 2077 mod.
Both the mods provided a significant increase to performance and graphics levels helping low-end GPU users. Since then, modders have tried creating a mod for other games. Games like Metro Exodus, Death Stranding, Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc. are also working with AMD FSR 2.0 mod.
Metro Exodus
According to a reddit post, FSR 2.0 is supposedly working on Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition. This was one of the first games to receive NVIDIA DLSS 2.0 support, and now it has unofficially got FSR 2.0 support as well.
The process given in the reddit post is
Place the nvngx.dll in the Metro main folder where nvngx_dlss.dll is also present. Running the EnableSignatureOverride.reg is also required.

There is ghosting throughout the game while using the game which users are seemingly frustrated with, although the framerate can double itself while using the mod which might make the mod worth trying.
Death Stranding
Another reddit post suggests that the Dying Light 2 mod also works with Death Stranding. The installation process is also the same as the Dying Light 2 mod.
The mod doesn’t provide a significant performance boost in this game however the graphics quality is visibly improved. The user says that there is lots of flickering during rapid motion while using the mod, something that a few tweaks should be able to solve.
The photos reveal that FSR 2.0 Ultra performance looks visually as pleasing as FSR 1.0 Ultra quality with a slight reduction in framerate.
Marvel’s Guardian of the Galaxy
The Dying Light 2 mod also works on Marvel’s Guarian of the Galaxy according to a reddit post. The process given in the reddit post is

Installation
- Ensure you are using DX12 for RDR2 and not Vulkan!
- Ensure asyncComputeEnabled is set to false in your system.xml file found in Documents\Rockstar Games\Red Dead Redemption 2\Settings\system.xml
- Download the latest release
- Unzip the content to your RDR2 executable directory
- Run RDR2 and enable DLSS (This is still FSR 2.0)[Text Wrapping Break]
Horizon Zero Dawn and Control are also working on the Dying Light 2 mod and more games are under test by users. With official FSR 2.0 support enjoying twice as fast adoption as DLSS 2.0, unofficial mods should boost FSR 2.0 use even further. This helps non-RTX users with high-end games even though there are bugs in all the mods.
