Slapping Enemy with a Fish?!-Genshin Impact Reveals 2.1 Update Weapons

When you talk about anime-like visuals blended with a touch of magic, no other game suits better than developer miHoYo’s Genshin Impact. Genshin Impact is an action-adventure RPG filled with breathtaking animations and well-developed action sequences. The game drops its players off in Teyvat, the fantasy world ruled by elemental Gods where they search for their long-lost sibling.

With so much to do and many places to explore, fans were already hooked on the game. Now, to kick things up a notch, Geshin Impact is soon releasing a 2.1 Update for the game and introducing new characters like Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and more. But that’s not all; the devs at miHoYo have already leaked four new weapons that will be part of the 2.1 updates.

miHoYo has recently released some sneak peeks for four new weapons added to Genshin Impact’s 2.1 Update coming on September 1st, 2021.

The four weapons include a Level 90 Polearm called Engulfing Lightning, another Level 90 Polearm called The Catch, a Level 90 Claymore called Luxurious Sea-Lord, and a Level 90 Bow called Predator.

Engulfing Lightning

The Engulfing Lightning Polearm is an exclusive 5-star weapon with a 608 base attack. Judging by the name, it will have the element lightning associated with it and can be obtained from a special Wish event in the 2.1 updates.

The Catch Polearm

However, the Catch Polearm will probably have elemental water magic attached to it. The base attack of this weapon will be 510 and can be obtained by redeeming it from the Fishing Association.

Luxurious Sea-Lord

Sticking true to the water theme, the Luxurious Sea-Lord Claymore is the funniest weapon in the entire collection. Yes! You can literally slap your opponents with a dried fish as a weapon. But, do not underestimate the power of the fish, as it deals a whopping 454 base attack damage. You can get this weapon from the Event Shop.

Predator Bow

Last but not least, the Predator Bow also deals 510 damage when shot at opponents. This beautiful bow is, however, only for Adventurers ranked Level 20 or higher. So, if you haven’t ranked up already, now’s the time. Keep in mind, PlayStation Network players can redeem the Predator Bow for free after the 2.1 Update.

I honestly can’t wait to equip the Claymore fish, slap it around enemies, and probably trigger a friend or two. All in all, this new Genshin update seems like a blast, and I can hardly wait to join in on the fun! If you’re also just as excited as I am, keep an eye out on September 1st for the 2.1 Genshin Impact Update.
