Genshin Impact Leak Reveals Alhaitham’s Five-Star Weapon

Genshin Impact is known to have some spectacular weapons which the characters use to their advantage. The most powerful ones are the five-star items, which are also the rarest.

A Genshin Impact leak revealed a new five-star weapon which will be arriving in the upcoming Update 3.4.

The post talks in detail about an upcoming sword called Light of Foliar Sanction, which will be the signature weapon of the next five-star Dendro user, Alhaitham.

Here are the weapon stats for Light of Foliar Sanction:

Base Attack: 542
Secondary Stat: Crit Damage
Secondary Stat Max. Value: 88.2%
Passive: Increases the character’s Crit Rate by 8-16% (depending on refinement level). When Normal Attacks deal elemental damage, the weapon holder will receive an effect called Folian Sanction, which increases Normal Attack and Elemental Skill damage by 120-200% of the character’s Elemental Mastery.

To use this sword to its full potential, one needs to infuse elemental damage to their character’s Normal Attacks. Several Genshin Impact fans argued that the Light of Foliar Sanction could easily become an S-tier weapon, suitable to any DPS character.

Genshin Impact to Launch New Five-Star Sword in Upcoming Update 3.4 — Alhaitham

Although it is a signature weapon by default, fans will be more than happy to equip it on existing DPS sword users like Ayato or even support characters such as Kazuha.

HoYoverse has not announced a release date for this weapon. However, it is safe to assume that the sword will appear alongside Alhaitham on the same banner.
