Genshin Impact Update 3.4 to Change Yelan’s Character Model

Genshin Impact’s upcoming version 3.4 is rumored to feature the Hydro user Yelan in one of the Limited Character Banners. She is expected to appear in the second part of the update. Yelan has been a popular character ever since her debut in version 2.5.

Redditor @PREM___ posted some images showing the Hydro character Yelan’s new model changes in the upcoming version 3.4 of Genshin Impact.

According to the post, Yelan will now have fingernails on her hands. This was earlier a controversial issue, especially for Genshin Impact’s Chinese players. The changes were unexpected since Hoyoverse doesn’t usually make modifications to existing in-game character models.

Yelan is more than capable of dishing out an immense amount of Hydro damage. However, she is more accustomed to the role of support or sub-DPS. Her kit lets her utilize the Hydro element even when she is off the battlefield.

Yelan will feature alongside Hu Tao in the same Character Banner cycle. Hu Tao has not appeared on a banner for 10 consecutive updates, which is unprecedented in Genshin Impact. She works best as the main DPS so players with both these characters can employ one of the best reactions in the game– Vaporize.

Genshin Impact is currently midway through version 3.3. The update introduced the new 5-star character Wanderer and the Geo user Arataki Itto in Genshin Impact’s banner cycle, which is available till December 27.
