As Battlefield turned heads at the E3 release, players all over the world got excited about the new title; if that was not enough, the Battlefield 2042 PORTAL trailer blew every expectation out of the water. Everybody from die-hard veterans of the franchise to new folks are lining up to catch bits and pieces of the upcoming Battlefield 2042.
Fortunately for us, there will be Alpha and Beta testing of the game, and you can have a chance to be in it! So we can actually get in the game before the worldwide release.
Battlefield 2042 Alpha Release Date
The Battlefield 2042 Alpha will take place in late July and early August, going by past trends, but there is no official date released by EA.
If you are interested in taking part in the Alpha, you need to stake your chips early as the window will not last forever.

Electronic Arts will be inviting “Battlefield Veterans” to alpha test the Battlefield 2042. Thus if you are an early fan of the franchise, you might be likely to find yourself with an invite.
This does not bear well for new fans of the series as they might not be contacted by EA. Fret not, as the Beta will be more forgiving with the entry rules, and you could get in there. If you do happen to get an Alpha invite, what does that mean? Do you fly in to test the game at EA? Well, not likely.
What Happens in Battlefield 2042 Alpha Stays in Battlefield 2042 Alpha
The Alpha testing would probably happen in a closed setting, and you would test your game at your own home rather than at an EA test facility. The Alpha is more likely to be covered under an NDA, and the players who get invited will not stream their gameplay!
EA has been slowly releasing info bit by bit as we are closing on the release date. Generally, it is a cardinal sin to not pre-order and wait for real-life reviews, but I would be lying If I say that this pre-order doesn’t look pretty appealing.
