“We’re happy to announce that GOG starts cooperation with GeForce NOW, NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service. It means gamers will be able to launch the GOG.COM version of Cyberpunk 2077 through GeForce NOW from day one (December 10th) of its premiere.”

GOG

Back in February, Nvidia revealed that Steam version of Projekt CD’s RPG can be played on GeForce Now. The company said, “GeForce Now members will be able to grab their copy on Steam and play the game the moment it’s available.”

Now it’s GOG that is bringing the futuristic cyber game to Nvidia’s service.

The compatibility of GOG with GeForce Now is definitely good news for enthusiasts across the world. It doesn’t matter if you buy the game from Steam or GOG. You can always rely on GeForce Now to play the game right from the beginning.

If you are still confused then in simpler words, GeForce Now is not a digital store but a cloud gaming service. It will allow you to play games bought from other storefronts like Stream and GOG.

GOG has confirmed that initially, players will play as V in the Night City in English language only. “Shortly after” the game’s release, the game will release in different languages.

Even if you do not have the best of systems, don’t fret. As the official statement said “any device including low-powered or incompatible Windows and Mac laptops, Chromebooks and more” will support the streaming system.

About Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing video game developed by CD Projekt Red and published by CD Projekt, based on video game designer Mike Pondsmith’s game series.

Set in a dystopian cyberpunk universe, the player assumes the role of “V,” a mercenary in the fictional Californian city known as “Night City,” where they deal with the fallout from a heist gone wrong that results in an experimental cybernetic “bio-chip” containing an engram of the legendary rock star and terrorist Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves) threatening to slowly overwrite V’s mind; as the story progresses V and Johnny must work together to find a way to be separated and save V’s life.
