The anime will consist of 10 episodes, featuring Martinez; a kid turned mercenary Edgerunner as the protagonist, who is being voiced by Zach Aguilar from the English dubbed version of Demon Slayer. It will be set in the utopian megapolis Night City.

The show’s main theme is the survival journey of a kid in a “technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future.” Another character is a Netrunner named Lucy.

Like other Studio Trigger projects, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is expected to feature quality animations and a complex narrative. The anime show is scheduled to release in September.
