Hitman 3’s secret ending is definitely a surprise for all Hitman lovers out there. So, imagine my amazement when I discovered that the last Providence mission includes a secret ending, dedicated to the awesome franchise.
Secret endings are a part of the easter eggs that the game devs add to spice up the player’s gaming experience. They are a delight to discover and they’re even more fun when you had no idea that they existed in the first place.
The last mission in Hitman 3 throws our favorite Agent 47 into a train around Romania, where he is given the task of terminating the Constant a.k.a Arthur Edwards, once and for all. The killing isn’t the hard part, but first Agent 47 has to make his way through a train filled with countless Providence employees to get to the Constant and trigger the secret ending.
1. What is the Secret Ending in Hitman 3?
Hitman 3’s secret ending is where Agent 47 injects the memory serum offered by Arthur and passes out only to wake up in a padded white room. Agent 47 heard Arthur say “Wake up, wake up my friend. It’s the dawn of a new day and you have things to do.”
That’s right! This is the very dialogue we all have heard in the first Hitman game called Codename 47. The secret ending is nothing but a homage to the very first game and shows off how the game has changed after all these years.
2. Who is the Constant?
Arthur Edwards a.k.a Providence’s Constant is the second-in-command in control of the 47 assassins. He is the main antagonist and the target throughout the World of Assassination trilogy and Agent 47 is finally able to kill him in Hitman 3.
The secret Hitman 3 ending also includes a dialogue from Arthur we are all familiar with.
This nostalgic treat is a must if you’re a big Hitman fanatic. If you haven’t been able to trigger the secret ending, I can tell you exactly how to get it.
3. How to Get the Secret Ending in Hitman 3?
When you finally reach Constant’s chamber, he has a dialogue with Agent 47 and offers a serum to regain his lost memories.
In the normal ending, you can just kill Arthur then and there. But in order to trigger the secret ending, you have to wait long enough for Arthur to start another set of dialogues.
That is when you get the option to inject yourself with the serum and the next thing you know, you’ll find Agent 47 in the same place as the opening of the 2000’s Codename 47 game that started the whole franchise.
This neat trick is certainly a must try if you are already attached to the whole franchise. Just remember to save the game before confronting Arthur so that you can opt for the normal ending after experiencing the secret one!

Developed by IO Interactive, Hitman 3 is a single-player stealth game. Playing as genetically-modified Agent 47, you will be required to take down the leaders of Providence. It is an evil organization that operates in the dark and influences how the world works.
