Thanks to Microsoft, we now know how much space Resident Evil Village will take up on your hard drive. While the game is almost twice of Resident Evil 7 in gigabytes, we’re happy to report it’s not going to be Lady Dimitrescu sized.
Resident Evil Village will come in at about 50.02 GB for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S according to this listing on the Microsoft store. As for PC, the game needs a minimum of 4 GB which is not much at all.
If you’re looking to pre-order the game you can browse through several options including the Resident Evil Village Bundle (including Village, Re: Verse, Mr. Racoon Weapon Charm, and Survival Resources Pack), and the Deluxe Bundle which will also include the Trauma Pack. The Trauma Pack comes with a whole bunch of extras including memorabilia like the Samurai Edge weapon and the Mr. Everywhere accessory.
With Village being a cross-generation game, it is heartening to know that players won’t have to break their HDDs to accommodate it on new-gen or old-gen machines. This makes for a welcome change from titles like Call of Duty Modern Warfare which take up over 100 GB of space.

About Resident Evil Village
