The Walloper is a tricky side mission in AC Valhalla but it sure promises loot. Known for knocking out opponents with one punch, the Walloper is your opponent in this quest. You can unlock the Walloper mission when your main mission lets you explore the Grantebridgescire area.
If you’re having a hard time trying to beat the infamous Walloper, don’t worry, because even the mightiest have their weaknesses. Just hop on your horse and locate the Walloper’s house to challenge him.
1. The Walloper’s Location
When you unlock the Grantebridgescire area in your map, a pointer will instantly indicate the location of the mission. Head to that direction till you find two huts and hear the sound of two children talking about the tales of their grandfather’s all mighty punch.
Approach the kids and you will learn about their grandfather who has a strong wallop/punch that can knock down opponents. The children will quickly call their grandfather to teach you a lesson as well.
2. How to Defeat the Old Man’s Wallop?
After you agree to the match, the old man will start the fist fight. He is true to his name as his one punch can really knock you out.
Just dodge his attacks and when he is done attacking, try to combo punch him till he gets knocked down.
The combo works better if you have the Brush with Death Skill unlocked as it heightens your senses, making the Walloper move slower for a bit. Just find this Raven Skill under the Skills Tree and unlock it if you haven’t already.
If he gets up or doesn’t get knocked down even after several hits, you can repeat the same combo a few times.
Just a tip: Instead of dodging his attacks and waiting for the right time to strike, parry the wallops and then stun him to immediately knock out the Walloper.
After his defeat, he will hand you over the key to his house where he keeps his riches. You can take the loot before returning to your other main mission.
3. What Loot Do You Get from the Walloper’s House?
After receiving the key to the Walloper’s house, you will find a bag of adorned teeth and a list of names of the people the old man had walloped.
The loot might not be that interesting and selling the teeth might not give you anything more than 20 silvers, but you have the glory of defeating the infamous Walloper.
And if you aim for 100% completion of the game, then complete this mission to satiate the true gamer in you!
